Contests

Calling all artists!

Because our community business partners want to be an inspiration and blessing to you, we are having an art contest for our next publication. A creative student will WIN $100.00 for their family and $100.00 for their homeroom class fund by designing the next card cover for educational staff!

The picture must not be larger than an 8.5 inch by 11.0 inch paper. It can be colored pencil, crayon, paint or digital. The theme must be Summer and it must say "Thank You" or "Thanks" somewhere on the art.

The submissions must be received by midnight March 31, 2012, and the winner will be picked the following week. The winner will be notified and the results posted on this website.

By submitting your art, you and your family grant us the right to publish your work of art. Your name will be published with your work and you will receive recognition as the winner of the contest.

Calling all writers and artists!

We are also collecting art pieces and writtings for another publication. Short stories, poetry and prose should be between 250 and 540 words. Artwork can colored pencil, crayon, paint or digital. All work should reflect the creator's thoughts on the prompt, "What is Life?" We will select the best representations from all education levels: Elementary, Middle School and High School for inclussion in our published anthology, "What is Life: An Anthology of Short Stories, Poetry & Prose".

There are three prizes in each category of $100.00 for the winning writings and $100.00 for each winners homeroom class fund. Because of the generosity of our business parters all students whose works are published will receive a free copy of the book. A free copy will also be given to their homeroom.

The submissions must be received by midnight March 31, 2012. The winner will be notified by April 30, 2012, and the results posted on this website. By submitting your work, you and your family grant us the right to publish your work.
